The ETCO 100W COB chip is the light source inside each “eye” of a 4 eyes COB blinder. First, it combines cool white and warm white channels on one board. As a result, the blinder can flash crisp daylight, soft warm light, or any shade in between. However, when one chip burns out, that eye goes dark or shows only one colour, which spoils the whole look.
Technicians use this chip to repair blinders instead of buying new fixtures. In addition, you only need to replace the faulty eye, so repairs stay low-cost. Moreover, the screw-mount metal base fits the original heatsink, which makes installation quick. A CRI of 80+ also keeps faces and stage colours natural on camera at weddings and concerts.
